It all started in 1925, when Mr and Mrs Chapman decided to turn their house into a produce retailer, calling their new business the Chapmans Market. They retired in 1961 and the Palm Market was born! The Palm Market has been serving Old Town and the City of Orange for almost 100 years making it the longest continuously running business in Orange!
The Palm Market has went through some changes throughout the decades, most recently, being completely remodeled from the ground up, and adding a deli to serve the community with freshly made sandwiches and selling sliced meat by the pound and other various deli items.
In addition to the deli, the Palm Market offers traditional items like dairy, household necessities, and bread. We also offer Italian imported pastas and marinara sauces, frozen foods, hot and iced coffee, Italian gelato, slushys, and various snacks from around the world
